]]>However, for now there are better writer’s takling about that. It’s steampunk month over at Tor.com and G.D Falksen has written an excellent piece called Steampunk 101. It’s a good primer to get started with and I hope to see more interesting thoughts in the comments.

I will be at NY Anime Fest this weekend on Saturday. I will be helping my friends over at Cosclips with their photobooth for half of the day, and probably photographing the con the rest of the time. If you see me say hi, or stop by the booth if you want to find me.
I was also at DragonCon, but for a number of reasons it was a bit low key. No planned photoshoots, but a few were still done and will be posted up soon.

It appears it is becoming an annual event, as the third one will be this Saturday. I will be there, camera and goggles at the ready. 
If you’ve wanted to go to a steampunk meetup in the area, I’d recommend coming by for the meet, then enjpying the rest of the day at the faire. And I always look forward to meeting some new people!
