I’m still around, and slowly starting to make more updates after a bit of a hiatus I took to deal with personal life. I’ve mostly started making small updates to the site, since a full blown rebuild will likely never happen right now. Flicker feed on the right, changes in the layout, and new portfolio pages being created so far.
Hopefully over the next few weeks you’ll continue to see more gradual changes. More images and pages will be added to the potfolio section. I’ll also be adding more photosets done prior that haven’t been uploaded online before. I’ll also be branching out the content more. When I built the site I was using it as a place to post on a certain aspect of my photography. Since I have less time to focus on those, it makes sense to expand into some of my other works. So look for that over time as well.

I’m home from the , held this past weekend in central NJ. And yes I live in central NJ, so the whole thing was remarkably convenient. I had a great time overall, saw a lot of old friends, made plenty of new ones, and took lots of photographs. Now it’s off to see what the camera holds.

I’ve been meaning to tackle this subject for a while, especially for all of you who find your way here through my other work and want to know what all this is about.
However, for now there are better writer’s takling about that. It’s steampunk month over at Tor.com and G.D Falksen has written an excellent piece called . It’s a good primer to get started with and I hope to see more interesting thoughts in the comments.

I will be at this weekend on Saturday. I will be helping my friends over at with their photobooth for half of the day, and probably photographing the con the rest of the time. If you see me say hi, or stop by the booth if you want to find me.

Last year at about this time I attended the Renaissance Fair in Tuxedo, NY for the Chrononaut’s Time Travel Picnic.
It appears it is becoming an annual event, as the third one will be this Saturday. I will be there, camera and goggles at the ready. If you’ve wanted to go to a steampunk meetup in the area, I’d recommend coming by for the meet, then enjpying the rest of the day at the faire. And I always look forward to meeting some new people!
